TUDOR LAWNS RESIDENTS' ASSOCIATION

Santa is coming!

Santa will visit Tudor Lawns on Christmas Eve, starting about 7.15pm after he gets dropped off by the reindeer. Listen out for the bell and the singing.

You can wave from the window or, better still, come out to say hello and join the carol singers who will be with him.

Everyone is welcome to join in the singing or simply enjoy walking around with Santa. Hoping to see you on the night

Introducing WhatsApp Community

Annual Meeting Invitation 2024

Date:    Monday 7th October
Venue: Glenalbyn House (Kilmacud Crokes Clubhouse),
             Glenalbyn Road Stillorgan
Time:   7 pm Tea/Coffee & Chat
             7.30 pm Meeting Starts

It is a great opportunity to meet, chat and be updated on the many current items of relevance to Tudor Lawns Residents. In particular, it gives our newer residents a chance to meet and get to know their neighbours and a lovely opportunity for our more senior residents to enjoy a catch-up in a comfortable setting.

Some residents may not have transport or may not be comfortable driving at that time so if you would like a lift to the meeting please let Joyce (No 4) or Maureen (No 7) know and we will do our best to get a lift for you.

If anyone is willing to offer a lift please offer it to someone you know who might like one or let Joyce or Maureen know and we can hopefully get everyone sorted.

We have again been offered the conference room as it is located at ground level and has plenty of space for your safety and comfort.

Santa's Annual Visit to Tudor Lawns

Santa Claus is expected to make his annual visit to Tudor Lawns (TL) again this year on Dec 24th at circa 7.15pm so watch from your front windows so you don't miss him. He will be accompanied by some Christmas carollers which provide a festive atmosphere. Thanks to Angela (No 14) who is arranging the carol singing again this year. More volunteers are needed to accompany Santa. It is not necessary for everyone who accompanies him to be able to sing! Please contact Angela if you are around for this much-loved traditional TL event.

We will have games for the children, a doggy parade at 2.30 for our four-legged residents, maybe the icecream van for all. Juice and bars for the children but perhaps you might bring a hot drink for yourselves. We are seizing the moment and hopefully, a pleasant afternoon to meet fellow neighbours.

Traditional Visit by Santa to Tudor Lawns on 24th December at 7pm

Santa will be making his usual visit to Tudor Lawns again this year while the reindeers have a well-earned rest in the racecourse.

He will be walking around Tudor Lawns circa 7pm so all the children should be watching from their front windows from shortly before 7pm so as not to miss him.

Grow Your Own Herbs & Vegetables - Planting Event
We have purchased 3 vegetable planters for the common areas. They are located at the seating areas on the green. We plan to grow some herbs and vegetables in these planters so that the children in the estate will learn where the food comes from and how to grow it. The planting will take place, WEATHER PERMITTING at 3 pm on Saturday 21st May.

Everyone is welcome to attend this event with children being especially welcome. All children must be supervised and accompanied by an adult for their safety. If it is raining the planting will take place at 3 p.m. on Sunday 28th May. This is one of our specific projects as part of our tidy districts entry for 2010 so we plan to take some photos on the day for the website.
